Rohan Reddy
What better way to start the new year off with the next "Junior of the Month" being Rohan Reddy. Honestly, does this kid ever break a sweat. He's got to be one of the coolest kids I have ever coached. I mean that literally. It is not because he does not work hard. On the contrary, he is one of the hardest working kids in our tennis program. Rohan, 9 years old, has been with Gion Tennis Inc. for almost 3 years and has develped into an efficient as well as proficient young tennis player. He is the proud son of Satish & Neeta Reddy and has an older sister Neha who is also in our program.
He really does not have any weaknesses in his game. He has very consistent groundstrokes, a rapid developing volley, and very reliable serve, but most of all, great sportsmanship. Also, I am very impressed with his composure on the court. His overall game seems to be very effortless, meaning he makes it look easy.... I truly enjoy coaching Rohan. He is always positive and calm on the court. By the way, these are great attributes to becoming a great ambassador to the sport. Recently, Rohan competed at the USTA Team Tennis Southern California Sectionals at Indian Wells, Ca. , in which he helped bring home the title for the "Red Remingtons" 10 & under Advance Division. He played awesome at the event, wasting no time in defeating all of his opponents. Rohan is a great compliment to our tennis program and I look forward to continuing to coach him. Congratulations Rohan, you are "Junior of the Month".
