In 1993 I was asked by Dan Jones, the Executive Director of “Say Yes to Tennis” Inc. to be an instructor for his grassroots tennis program, which serviced at-risk youth in Summit County in the state of Ohio. Under his guidance and leadership I realized my true passion.

I soon became a certified Tennis professional coach, I attended several coaching workshops and conventions around the country, and mentored several youth in low economic communities. As a role model I was able to enrich the lives of many youth, providing them with the opportunity to go to college on academic and athletic scholarships.

After five years I returned home to California and wanted to start up a similar program with the objectives of developing strong & positive character among youth and providing them with opportunities of competing at a high level while establishing core values. This was a dream come true….

Our success comes from the emphasis put on honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, and confidence building through the teaching of modern mechanics and basic sound fundamentals. Most of all, making sure our kids are having fun while learning the game of tennis. My number one goal is to build good character.
