Gion Advance Tennis Training	Tues & Thursday	5:30 & 7:30 pm

Note: Check with me if you are not sure what group your child should be enrolled in. Also, there will be a 25% discount on second child.

Advanced Training Programs

Tues & Thurs 5:30 – 7:30 pm
5:30 – 5:45	Speed, agility, and endurance training.
	Includes: Jump roping, medicine ball, sprints, and stretching.

5:45 – 6:00	footwork
	Includes: Plyometrics & reaction drills

6:00 – 6:15	serves & returns
	Serves: emphasis will be put on placement and change of speeds.
	Returns: emphasis will be put on returning aggressively, particularly on weak serves and neutralizing strong serves by returning with depth.

6:15 – 6:20	Break
6:20 – 6:25	Clinic objective lecture

	Discussion of clinic objective of the day, upcoming events, and court assignments.

6:25 – 6:45	Drills
	Emphasis will be put on the continued development of a variety of shots, strategy, and consistency by way of structured drills in conjunction with daily objectives.

6:45 – 6:50	Break

6:50 – 7:30	Match play


Players will be matched with other players in singles or doubles to play with the objective of implementing the daily objectives in their match.

Note: players should bring plenty of water, a towel, and a jump rope.
